To be eligible for award, a vendor must be a small business. The vendor must have adequate resources, necessary organization, experience, accounting and operational controls, technical skills, production and technical equipment and facilities, and be able to comply with the required performance schedule.

The site visit is scheduled for 10:30 AM Monday July 27th, with a rain date of Thursday morning July 30th. All parties interested in bidding on the proposal must attend the site visit. Bids submitted from parties that did not attend the site visit will not be considered.

All work must be completed prior to December 1, 2026.

Payments will be made in accordance with the village accounts payable cycle. The village shall not be required to pay any interest or late charges on any amount owed to contractor.

The village intends to award the contract to the lowest responsive bid, dependent on qualifications.

Proposals must include references from a minimum of three professional references from similar or closely related work.

An initial site visit is recommended for all interested contractors to evaluate the extent of the project. The site visit should be completed by July 29, 2026.

If the apparent low bidder is unable to meet the requirements of the service contract, the village shall offer the project to the next lowest bidder.

Bidders must be licensed in accordance with Louisiana law and display their license number on the bid envelope.
