S. 39:1594, the person signing the bid must be a corporate officer, a member of a partnership, or an authorized representative with supporting documentation of authority. Failure to deliver within the time specified in the bid award will constitute a default and may be cause for contract cancellation. Where the university has determined the vendor to be in default, UL Lafayette reserves the right to purchase any or all goods or services covered by the contract on the open market and to surcharge the vendor with costs in excess of the contract price.
