The project involves the renovation of the Manchester West High School track D-Zone, including the replacement of the trench drain system, resurfacing the track, and renovating the shot put landing area. Bids are due by February 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The work must be completed during the Manchester School District's 2026 summer break, between June 17, 2026, and August 14, 2026. A prebid meeting will be held on January 28, 2026. Prequalification is required for bids exceeding $250,000. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for 5% of the total bid amount. A performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price will be required from the successful bidder. The evaluation criteria include lowest firm price, qualifications and experience, and proposed schedule. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The contractor must provide a one-year warranty for all work and material installations.

Payments shall be made within 45 days of delivery and acceptance of the contracted items/services or upon receipt of a verified claim for payment, whichever is later.
The successful respondent guarantees to the city that all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose as provided for in new hampshire **** and **** shall remain in force and not disclaimed.
The evaluation criteria for determining the most advantageous and responsible bid are as follows: lowest firm price, qualifications and experience of firm and previous related work, proposed schedule of work.
All individuals, firms, partnerships, or corporations intending to bid must be prequalified for the project if their bid will be in excess of 250, 000 per the city of manchesters procurement code.
The contractor agrees by signing the contract agreement that the city may retain from the amounts of money that is or which may become due an amount of two hundred **** plus engineering charges for each calendar day sundays and city of manchesterholidays excluded of time consumed in completing the work beyond the time conditionsstipulated in the invitation for bids and the contract agreement or any extension of time that isduly authorized and such amount so to be retained.
A presubmittal site meeting is not mandatory. If you cannot attend the scheduled prebid conference, you may contact the parks project manager to schedule an individual onsite visit.
The city will post questions and answers as an addendum no later than three 3business days before the submission deadline.
