Payment will be made monthly by electronic funds transfer (EFT) for actual days worked. Payment could take as long as 45 days after invoice.
Award shall be made to the lowest priced offeror who is determined to be responsible, based on past performance record.
The mill operator shall be proficient in milling operations and associated mechanical equipment, demonstrated by past work record and personal interview, in addition to demonstrated proficiency. The operator/interpreter must have skill in meeting the public and explaining the mill's operation and history.
Failure to provide items in full and to provide complete services may be grounds for termination. Breach of contract or voluntary termination without sufficient cause may jeopardize future contracts.
Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the contract performance.
Inappropriate conduct or unacceptable actions of the miller may be grounds for termination, including theft, consumption of alcohol/drugs while on duty, discrimination, harassment, or recurring complaints from visitors.
