Pitkin County is seeking proposals for the construction of the Snowmass Creek Trailhead. Proposals are due by July 17, 2026. Questions must be submitted by July 6, 2026, via email to ***@***. *. * project includes parking, visitor orientation features, a double vault toilet, native landscape restoration, and drainage improvements. Evaluation criteria include approach to project, similar work experience, availability, estimated cost, and references. A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for June 29, 2026.
Proposals must be uploaded to the Bidnet Direct website no later than 2:00 PM MT on July 17, 2026.
Selection will be based on approach to project (30%), list of similar work (25%), availability (20%), estimated cost of services (15%), and references (10%).
Proposers must submit a statement of qualifications, including references for similar projects, especially with local governments.
The contract includes liquidated damages, as specified in the scope of work.
An optional pre-proposal meeting will be held on June 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM MT at the Maroon-Snowmass Trailhead.
Questions and requests for clarification must be submitted by 4:00 PM MT on July 6, 2026.
Violation of communication restrictions with the selection committee is grounds for disqualification.
