This is a call for white papers under Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) **** for the Next Generation of Remote Sensing Capabilities (Topic FGC02). The objective is to automate the detection and classification of mines, minefields, and other maneuver obstacles using various data modalities from commercial and national satellites, as well as airborne assets. White papers should focus on basic research, applied research, advanced technology development, or demonstration and validation. Technical questions are due 10 days after the posting date, and white papers are due 30 days after the anticipated release date, both by 3:00 PM EST via email. The anticipated award date is May 01, 2026, with an anticipated funding of up to $4,000,000 for the total contract ceiling, intended for multiple contracts with a period of performance of up to 3 years. Awards are expected to range from $100k to $4m. Respondents must refer to BAA number **** for all other instructions.
White papers are due no later than insert date, 30 days after anticipated release date, 3:00 PM EST via email to the RTI BAA mailbox.
The government reserves the right to select all, part, or none of the white papers received, subject to the availability of funds.
To be eligible for consideration and possible contract award, the technology or methodology shall be either basic research, applied research, advanced technology development not for a specific system/hardware, or demonstration and validation.
