The tribes may select a contract other than the one providing the lowest cost solution, based on responsiveness, time estimates, qualifications, experience, staff qualifications, cost, and TERO preference. The objective is to choose the entity capable of providing reliable and effective services within a reasonable budget.

Contractors must provide a statement of qualifications, including experience in building traditional-style smokehouses and covered structures, and resumes for assigned professionals. Provide a statement of the contractors experience building a traditionalstyle smokehouse with an attached covered structure.

Deviating from the required proposal format may also lead to disqualification. Payment terms are Net 60 after receipt of properly executed invoice or delivery and acceptance, whichever is later.

The contractor agrees to accept full responsibility for all fire alarm systems and to leave them in first-class condition on the termination date.

The intent is to award this bid to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.

All technicians furnished under this contract shall have at least five years of experience in fire alarm systems, and at least one technician servicing the account shall have a class D technician license.

Failure to deliver within the time specified in the bid award will constitute a default and may be cause for contract cancellation. The university may purchase goods or services on the open market and surcharge the vendor with excess costs.

It is the responsibility of the prospective bidder to visit and examine the jobsite. To visit the jobsite and for further information, contact Mary Boret at ****.

Written inquiries must be received in the UL Lafayette Office of Purchasing no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the opening of bids.

Failure to meet all mandatory requirements, including submitting incomplete technician information or missing mandatory attachments, may be cause for rejection of the bid.

Quoters shall demonstrate relevant past performance or affirmatively state that it possesses no relevant past performance. Relevant past performance is performance under contracts or efforts within the past 3 years that is of the same or similar scope, magnitude, and complexity to that which is described in the solicitation. Quoters shall submit a maximum of three 3 current/previous contracts performed within the last three 3 years that are of a similar nature to this solicitation.
