The Camden County Board of Commissioners seeks proposals to replace three existing RIX compressor units at Kingsbay Navy Base with three new Sauer Hurricane series compressor packages and dryers. The scope includes installation, SCADA integration, and air quality certification. All work must comply with specific standards (OSHA, CGA Grade D, NEC, ASME). Contractors must pass naval base security clearance. Proposals are due October 1, 2026, at 2:15 PM. A 12-month manufacturer warranty and 12-month workmanship warranty are required. Two high-pressure breathing air compressor units must remain operational during the project.
Not later than the 30th day after submitting an accepted, approved and correct estimate along with all required documentation as per these contract documents as detailed in the above paragraph, the owner shall, after deducting previous payments made, pay to the contractor 90 of the amount of the estimate as approved by the owner
The units come with a standard twelve 12 month manufacturer warranty on units and the contractor provides a twelve 12 month workmanship warranty covering all installation labor, piping, and electrical work.
The contract will be awarded to the most responsible, responsive bidder whose submission, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the camden county board of commissioners, price and other factors conferred, such as quality of equipment, conformity of the specifications and warranty.
Contractors must be qualified companies and meet all requirements as noted in the contract documents and specifications.

Any proposer who is in default to the camden county board of commissioners at the time of submittal of the proposal shall have that proposal rejected.
