Lot 2: KCI Crop Harvesting - Corn Kentucky Department of Corrections, Division of Correctional Industries ( KCI) has a farm located in Fredonia, KY at Western Kentucky Correctional Complex. There are approximately 400 acres of corn, and 850 acres of soybeans planted annually. KCI is looking for a contractor to: - Use a combine harvester to harvest grains at the end of the growing season at a mutually agreed upon date - Load on a semi- truck and trailer provided by the holder of the hauling contract - Load approximately **** bushels of harvested corn into KCI grain carts to be stored in KCI grain bins for cow feeding Vendor shall be responsible for supplying the combine or harvester, including all necessary supplies such as diesel, oil, parts, etc. Vendor shall be responsible for supplying all other equipment needed for harvesting, including, but not limited to, tractor and grain cart. Approximately 6, 000 bushels of corn shall be loaded into grain bins owned by KCI. The remainder of the corn shall be loaded onto semi- trucks and trailers provided by the contractor for hauling the crops.

Hauling of harvested corn and soybeans from fields and storage bins located at 374 New Bethel Church Road, Fredonia KY to the Lyon Co. Port located at 978 Old Railroad Road, Eddyville, KY. Vendor' s drivers must have a commercial driver' s license ( CDL). Vendor will ensure crops are delivered in a timely manner when they reach minimum moisture levels that will be accepted at the Lyon Co. Port. Approximate yield to be hauled: Corn 72, 000 bushels and Soybeans 80, 000 bushels Vendor will supply at least two ( 2) Tractor Trailers ( with driver) and will be responsible for all expenses associated with the crop hauling, including diesel fuel. All crops will be loaded by combine harvester or by DOC staff.

Bus transportation and driver for a maximum of 30 people for the 2025 Illinois grain industry tour from September 29th to October 2nd. Vendor shall include the cost of motor coach transportation available to the group the entire time of the trip in compliance with industry, state and federal regulated policies. Motor coach should have seats for a minimum of thirty 30, include working microphone system, restroom on board with ample supplies for the duration of the trip i. e. : toilet paper, hand sanitizer, etc. and the vehicle shall be no more than five 5 years old. Overall appearance, interior and exterior, must be clean, in good repair, and free of unpleasant odors. The vehicle should have luggage storage for thirty 30 people, electrical access at each seat and wifi connectivity.
