Proposals must be submitted through Ionwave. The deadline for questions is **** 12:00 PM ET and the response deadline is **** 04:00 PM ET. Required attachments include a Sworn and Notarized Affidavit of Compliance and exceptions to the bwl terms and conditions if applicable. The bidder must provide the primary contact's name, email, and phone number. The bidder must provide information about the company's history, including years in business, experience with the Board of Water and Light and the City of Lansing, and any defaults on contracts or litigation. Safety data is required as part of the evaluation process. The bidder must list any relationships between their firm's staff and any current BWL employee. The bidder must list at least three references for similar work. The bidder must list subcontractors that they plan to use on this project. The district strongly prefers electronic proposal submission via the bidding platform bonfire. Proposals will be evaluated using bonfire. There is no charge to register on bonfire.

The waste area was previously disturbed and does not involve tree removal. The project boundary is primarily residential including houses, outbuildings, and driveways. Drainage structures and retaining walls will be constructed in the yards, behind the houses and structures and along the driveways. The project site is characterized by a small slide, 4 open portals, 3 collapsed portals and seepage from the portals and slide. The slide damaged an existing storage building on the property, which was subsequently replaced following clean- up of the slide by the property owner. However, there remains a significant amount of seepage from the open portals and throughout the material on the upper bench and below at the elevation of the property owners residence.

The bid is for the purchase of aluminum supplies and hardware. Bidders must include all delivery charges in the per unit pricing. Prices must be firm for at least 30 days from the bid opening date.
