This is a sources sought notice, not a request for quotation, for the repair of a fire truck water pump at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a commitment by the government. This solicitation is for 25 vehicular equipment components, specifically a repair kit for tanker vehicles. It may result in an indefinite delivery contract (IDC) with a one-year term or until 250,000 in total orders are placed. The estimated number of orders per year is 9, with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 16. Items will be shipped to various CONUS and OCONUS locations via consolidation and containerization. Quotes must be submitted electronically. Specifications, plans, and drawings are not available. All responsible sources may submit a quote.

This notice is for a solicitation and negotiation with a limited number of sources for supplies. Interested parties must be qualified prior to consideration. The approximate response date is 30 days after issue, and the anticipated award date is 60 days after the solicitation closes. Written and electronic submissions are accepted. An ombudsman is available to address concerns during the proposal development phase. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five days thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the government. Required delivery: beginning Jul 2027.
