Vertical Lift Module ( VLM) Furnishment, delivery, installation, and operator training of a Vertical Lift Module ( VLM) at Tobyhanna Army Depot ( TYAD), Pennsylvania. The VLM is an automated storage and retrieval system ( ASRS) designed for high- density storage of small to medium- sized items, improving efficiency, organization, and reducing manual labor. Specific performance requirements include minimum total unit load capacity, unit capacity minus dead weight, payload, gross load payload, vertical lifting speed, and horizontal extractor speed. Essential physical characteristics include size limitations ( **** ft wide x 10. 3 ft deep x 28 ft height) and storage capacity for up to 200, 000 small objects. The contract includes a two- year product warranty and operator training at TYAD during installation.
