The operator should be a 1hp Liftmaster or equivalent, with features like heater, photoeyes, exit loops, safety loops, programming capability, and vehicle detectors. A maintenance plan and instruction for personnel are also required. The project duration is expected to be 30 days, starting on or after September 8, 2026. Bids are to be submitted on a lump sum basis. Evaluation will be based on project timeline (20%), cost-effectiveness (60%), and references/past performance (20%). Questions must be submitted in writing by 10 am, seven business days before the submission deadline. No bid bond is required. The contractor must provide a minimum one-year warranty.
The project has an expected duration of 30 days from the start of construction, which is expected to begin on or after September 8, 2026.
Payments shall be made within 45 days of delivery and acceptance of contracted items/services or within 30 days upon receipt of a verified claim for payment. The city will withhold 5% of all payments as retainage for one year from the final completion date.
The contractor shall provide a minimum of one 1 year warranty for all work and material installations. The gate truck assembly shall be warranted for five years.

Bidders must have adequate personnel and equipment, suitable financial status, appropriate technical experience, and be registered to transact business in New Hampshire. If the bid amount exceeds $250,000, prequalification is required.
Liquidated damages apply for failure to meet substantial completion ($200 per day) and final completion ($500 per day).
A pre-submittal site visit is suggested but not mandatory. Contact the park projects manager to schedule an individual onsite visit at least 24 hours before the question deadline.
Questions must be received no later than 10 am, seven business days before the submission deadline.
Bids may be rejected if not correctly endorsed or signed, or if they add terms or conditions to the bid documents.
