The Wyoming Air National Guard is seeking bids for the repair of hot
water heaters in building 30. The contractor must coordinate all work with the point of contact (POC) five working days in advance of mobilization and provide necessary documentation for base access. The contractor is responsible for any damages caused during the project and must rectify or replace any damaged equipment. Compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, installation facility access, and local security policies is required. Contractor and subcontractor employees must complete awareness training and sign a statement confirming they received the information and were offered additional training. Normal hours of operation are 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding federally recognized holidays. Requests to work outside these hours must be made at least three working days in advance. The contractor must clean up all rubbish and leave the premises in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. A site visit can be requested. The contractor must supply all necessary equipment and tools. The bid must include a detailed quote for the replacement unit, labor, and any additional materials or permits required. The contractor must ensure all repairs comply with local, state, and national fire safety and
water utility regulations. The contractor must shut off gas and
water supply to the existing natural gas hot
water heater, shut off electricity, drain and disconnect the existing units from gas lines,
water lines, and venting system, safely remove and dispose of the old hot
water heater in accordance with local waste disposal regulations, deliver and install a new equivalent commercial gas or electric hot
water heaters, connect the new unit to existing lines, install any additional components as needed, clean the work area, and test the system for leaks, proper ignition, and consistent hot
