This is a Request for Price Quote (RFPQ) for the renovation of the VERF room in Fleet Building 3B for the City of Corpus Christi. The project includes installing a new moisture vapor barrier, concrete floor, and floor coating. The contract term is 30 days. A mandatory job walk is scheduled for July 30, 2026. Bids are due by August 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM CT. All inquiries must be submitted electronically via the City's supplier portal by August 3, 2026. Quotes must include all labor, materials, and equipment. The award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
The contract term for this project is 30 days. All items must be completed on or prior to the completion date.
Payment will be made for services performed and accepted by the City within 30 days of the invoice date, subject to receipt of an acceptable invoice. No progress invoicing will be allowed.
The contractor shall provide warranty letters, including manufacturer's warranty on all parts and materials used on the project, prior to submitting the final invoice. Covered warranty on new installation shall be one year or better for all labor and workmanship, and for all new parts, materials, and/or equipment.
The City will award purchase orders and contracts to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The City may consider the quality of the product, adaptability to the particular use required, and the ability, capacity, experience, efficiency, and integrity of the bidders, as well as their financial responsibility.
Bidders are required to be qualified and interested in providing renovations to the Fleet Building 3B VERF room. The contractor shall have competent, responsible, trained personnel qualified to provide the required services.
There will be only one job walk for this project, scheduled for July 30, 2026, at 3:00 PM CT. Bidders are highly encouraged to familiarize themselves with the scope of work prior to the job walk and bring any necessary staff/subcontractors to view the project site.
Requests for clarification (QA) must be submitted by August 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM CT.
Bidders may be disqualified for attempting to question employees other than the designated project manager, for submitting bids on other than the City's forms or with different terms and conditions not approved, for failing to submit all required documents, or for submitting bids via facsimile or email.
