Delivery dates must be shown in the bid. If no delivery dates are specified, it will be assumed that an immediate delivery from stock will be made. The period of performance will be one year with two potential one-year options for renewal.

As Providence Public Schools is exempt from the payment of federal excise taxes and Rhode Island sales tax, prices quoted are not to include these taxes. The contractor shall not be paid in advance.

Vendors must have the ability to screen, evaluate, counsel, remediate and support students aged five to fourteen in academic, career, social, and personal domains. Dual background in education and counseling, at least 3 years of experience in an educational setting, and experience working in-person within private schools are preferred.

Failure to deliver within the time quoted or failure to meet specifications may result in default in accordance with the general specifications.

Bid proposals that are not present in the Providence Public Schools Purchasing Department at the time of opening for whatever cause will be deemed to be late and will not be considered. Postmarks shall not be considered proof of timely submission.

Payments to contractors will be made on a cost reimbursement basis after services have been provided. Payments to contractors for services performed will be made on a cost reimbursement basis.

Contractors must have a minimum of two years of experience providing youth services for the proposed elements and demonstrate they have provided services for up to 500 youth per program year. Failure to submit proposals electronically through the eprocurement platform, or submitting late proposals, will result in rejection. Any proposal, modification, or withdrawal received after the designated time is late, per paragraph **** of the maricopa county procurement code late submissions will be rejected and not be evaluated.
