The solicitation is for the repair of electrical and electronic assemblies. The government requires a repair turnaround time (RTAT) of 313 days. The contractor must accurately report all transactions by the end of the fifth regular business day after receipt. The contractor must obtain final inspection and acceptance by the government for all assets within the RTATs established in this contract. The government intends to add an option quantity to the resultant contract. Any asset for which the contractor does not meet the required RTAT will incur a price reduction per unit per month the contractor is late. The contractor shall develop and deliver a repair report for each item provided to the contractor for repair under this contract, within 10 days after completion of the repair.

The government intends to negotiate with a single source for supplies or services. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability. Proposals received within 45 days (or 30 days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. One or more items are subject to free trade agreements, Buy American Act, free trade agreements, balance of payments program, and the World Trade Organization government procurement agreement and free trade agreements. The item requires government source approval prior to contract award.

This solicitation is issued under emergency acquisition flexibilities. Offerors from non-government approved sources will be deemed ineligible. Distributors of approved sources must submit a copy of their authorized distributor letter to the buyer point of contact via email at the time of proposal submittal.
