Forney Independent School District (FISD) is seeking proposals for school photography services. The district intends to qualify multiple providers for fall school pictures, which will be used for the student information system, student ID cards, and individual/group yearbook photos. Vendors must be able to provide quality photography for all grade levels (preschool through high school). Digital files must be compatible with the district's SIS and labeled with the district ID number. Vendors are required to submit a price list for standard student packages and a menu of services for auxiliary photography. Awarded vendors will need to provide a certificate of liability insurance. Selected contractors shall accept multiple payments for photography services. A payment plan will be established between the ordering campus and contractor before the start of any work. Contractor must accept district issued purchase orders, district issued checks, personal checks issued by parent/guardian, or major credit cards. The bid also states that the company accepts Net 30-day payment terms.
Forney ISD shall consider the purchase price, reputation of the vendor, quality of goods or services, extent to which the goods or services meet the district's needs, the vendor's past relationship with the district, the total long-term cost to the district, and any other relevant factor. The district does not award contracts on pricing alone and reserves the right to award to the proposer who offers the best value and is in the best interest of the district.

The bid states that a proposer's violation of certain sections, such as those related to criminal history checks, shall constitute substantial failure. Forney ISD reserves the right to terminate any agreement in the event of a breach or default of the agreement by the vendor.
