The tender is for NEC emergency low voltage
generator preventive maintenance at the U. S. Embassy in Panama. The contract is for one year with two one-year options. Delivery of services is required to the U. S. Embassy Panama. Contractor personnel must comply with standard U. S. Embassy regulations. Prior notice of at least 15 working days is required for deliveries. Deliveries are to be made between 08:00 AM and 04:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays. Invoices are to be sent to a specific address at the U. S. Embassy. Payment will be made in local currency by electronic funds transfer (EFT) within 30 days of invoice receipt. The government has a tax exemption certificate from the host government, so VAT is not applicable. The contractor is responsible for all employee wages and benefits required by host country law. The contractor must provide insurance coverage for personal injury, property loss, and damage. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, licenses, and appointments required for the prosecution of work under this contract. The offer must include information demonstrating the offeror's ability to perform, including a project manager or liaison who understands written and spoken English, evidence of an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in the Republic of Panama, proof of SAM registration, a list of clients over the past five years, and a strategic plan for NEC emergency low voltage

If insurance is required by the solicitation, a copy of the certificate of insurance must be provided, or a statement that the contractor will get the required insurance, and the name of the insurance provider to be used. The government will determine acceptability by assessing the offeror's compliance with the terms of the RFQ to include the technical information required by section 3.
