Driveway aprons to be placed at same time of top wearing course is placed for roadway to eliminate excessive joints. Trimming bid item is based on linear foot length and 3ft width for all road intersections to existing pavement. Shoulder work to be performed as soon as possible after top course is placed. Benton Rd: 1 mill and overlay from Hooksett Rd intersection for approximately 600 ft in length. Transition to full depth reclaim to intersection of Martins Ferny Rd, regrade roadway, grade roadway, increase crown keeping road edges as to not affect drainage. Removal and reconstruction of roadway Removal and reconstruction of approximately 3, 300 feet of 5- lane urban arterial roadway. Construction will include but not be limited to construction of full- depth pavement of arterial and local streets, removal of existing pavement, milling and overlay of existing pavement, raising pavement grade, and street widening. Included is the preparation of the site, which includes demolition of three single- story commercial structures. Existing traffic control improvements including signalization equipment shall be removed, new pavement markings will be applied, and new signals will be furnished and installed. Also included is the removal and reconstruction or relocation of water utilities, removal and reconstruction of storm sewer facilities, the extension of a multicell box culvert, and coordination with the relocation of municipal power and other franchise utilities.
