The City of Bristol is seeking proposals for real estate revaluation services for the October 1, 2027 grand list. This is not a full inspection revaluation. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM on July 9, 2026. The selected firm will assist in reappraising all real property within the city limits, utilizing the city's existing CAMA system. Key responsibilities include data analysis, developing valuation models, conducting field reviews, and managing taxpayer hearings. Minimum qualifications include being a certified revaluation company for at least five years, with certified personnel. Evaluation criteria include technical understanding, experience, qualifications, performance, familiarity with local markets and CAMA software, ability to meet deadlines, and proposed fees.

Standard payment terms are net 30 days from receipt of properly executed invoices.

Firms must be a certified revaluation company for a minimum of five years, and all assigned personnel must be certified. Project managers need at least five years of appraisal experience, and reviewers/appraisers need at least three years.
If services are not performed in a timely manner, the city may withhold payment, or portions of payment.
A drive-by field review of all real estate parcels is required to determine the accuracy of assessment data.
