These services are crucial for the city's stormwater program, which includes operations and maintenance of the public drainage system, development plan reviews, compliance with permits (MS4 NPDES, CDFW RMA), capital improvement projects, and floodplain management. The scope may require a full-service consultant or multiple specialized consultants. Firms must possess extensive knowledge of Sacramento County improvement standards, construction specifications, NPDES MS4 and California Construction General Permit (CGP) requirements, CEQA, NEPA, and other regulatory standards.

The City of Florissant is seeking proposals for storm sewer improvements at the intersection of Lindsay Lane and Florisota Drive to address flooding issues. The project involves constructing approximately 300 linear feet of storm sewer pipe and inlets, including new curb inlets and manholes, while maintaining ADA-compliant sidewalks and curb ramps. A traffic control plan must be submitted to the Florissant Police Department and Engineering Division. Bidders must coordinate with adjacent construction projects on Lindsay Lane. The contractor is responsible for all equipment, labor, and materials, including utility relocation and debris removal. Excavation permits are required from the City of Florissant, with permit fees waived. The contractor must restore the project site, including sidewalks and ramps, to comply with ADA regulations. The contractor must report any potential delays to the City Engineer and coordinate all activities with the City of Florissant Engineering Office. The City's representative will visit the site periodically, but exhaustive inspections are not guaranteed.
