This is a solicitation for turbine runner and stay vane repair at the Grand Coulee Dam, Washington. The work includes scaffolding, inspection, welding, grinding, and coating. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for June 25, 2026. Proposals are due by July 3, 2026. The estimated total value is between $10,000,**** and $13,500,****. The contract will be a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) single award task order contract.
The contract completion time is within **** calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.
Payment requests must be submitted electronically through the U. S. Department of the Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform (IPP). Company standard invoice and updated schedule reports are required prior to IPP input.
The contract includes clause ****, Warranty of Construction.
This acquisition will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder.
Award will not be made to a bidder that does not comply with small business subcontracting terms.
If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, liquidated damages will be assessed at $2,**** for each calendar day of delay.
An organized site visit is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM PDT. Preregistration is required by Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
Contractor questions will not be accepted after Friday, July 3, 2026, at 15:00 Mountain Daylight Time.
Failure to comply with security requirements, including obtaining a DOI access card and undergoing background investigations, could result in termination for default.
