The Town of Douglas is soliciting bids for the supply of heating fuel for its municipal buildings for FY 2026. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, with three hard copies, by 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, to the office of the Town Administrator. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible vendor offering the lowest all-inclusive per gallon price, delivered to the specified buildings. Questions regarding the bid must be submitted in writing to the office of the Town Administrator by 12:00 noon on Monday, August 11, 2025. Additional documents required include a completed bid form, certificate of state tax compliance, certificate of corporate vote (if required), disclosure statement (if required), and a noncollusion statement. The successful bidder will be expected to execute a contract in substantially the form set out in Attachment B within ten (10) calendar days of contract award. The tender seeks a contractor to supply and deliver petroleum diesel fuel to the Region VI Federal Regional Center (FRC) on-site generator. Deliveries must be made within 24 hours of a request.
