Upon the failure of the contractor to perform in any manner, in accordance with the proposals, information for bidders and specifications, the town has the right to cancel this contract and in such event, the bid security shall be considered as liquidated damages and shall be forfeited to the town.
Questions pertaining to this contract, including scheduling a site visit, shall be directed to town engineer robert wasp at 914 **** or by email at rwasp@townofmamaroneckny. gov.
Prospective bidders shall have seven working days prior to the bid opening date to bring to the attention of the town of mamaroneck town administrator or his designee any errors or defects in these specifications which would prevent them from providing a responsive bid.
Bids will not be accepted from firms which have pleaded guilty to or, otherwise, been convicted of bid rigging or related criminal charges.
