Dust Mask Government Bids & RFPs

This is a solicitation for cleaning services for the Kelso Depot in Mojave National Preserve. The objective is to enhance visitor experience and address health and safety issues due to accumulated dust, dirt, and rodent presence. The cleaning scope includes approximately 11,500 square feet, encompassing carpeted and hard floor areas, movable and affixed furniture, windows, drawers, and specific rooms. Special attention is required for potential hantavirus risks, necessitating specific cleaning methods and personal protective equipment (N95 masks or respirators). Items in drawers and on shelves may require sun sanitization for a minimum of two hours. NPS staff will clean three rooms containing historic exhibits. The contractor will be provided with a Statement of Work detailing specific cleaning requirements for various areas, including offices, restrooms, storage rooms, exhibit areas, lobby, kitchen, auditorium, basement, and stairways. NPS will label any items not to be cleaned by the contractor.

The solicitation is an MBE set-aside for LAECI Hospitality Equipment. Only bidders with an active MBE certification can submit a response. The lowest and complete bid will be selected.

The contractor will clean external HVAC vents, ceiling vents, indoor roofing, and metal extension beams at JBSA Randolph AFB Bldg 999. Cleaning must be performed using HEPA filter vacuums, microfiber cloths, and nontoxic cleaning agents. The work will be inspected by the facility manager. A post-award conference will be held to discuss zoning and equipment relocation. Access will be scheduled during non-peak occupancy hours.

Sealed bids are requested for janitorial supplies until 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Bids must be submitted on the attached form and sealed in an envelope clearly marked. Bids may be sent via registered/certified mail, UPS, FedEx, hand-delivered, or submitted electronically at www. ***. *. * bids must include a unit price and total price, and transportation charges to the St. Tammany Parish School Board Slidell support facility. Bidders may bid on the entire list or individual items. Samples are required for items not specified on the bid form and must be delivered to the Slidell support facility by the bid opening time. Material safety data sheets are required for chemical products. A performance bond is required if the purchase amount exceeds $1,000. Delivery is freight on board (FOB) destination. Sales tax is not included. The school board reserves the right to select a higher-priced item if deemed superior. The successful vendor must furnish a certificate of insurance within 15 calendar days of award.
