Electric gate services at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center The contractor shall build 2 metal swing gates size 2 136 wide x 6 tall chain link gates with 1, 000 lb. barrel hinges for the north side of the maintenance area. The contractor shall need to remove old gates and install new gates and use a 9. 0 gauge chain link mesh to cover the gates. The contractor shall repair the existing cantilever gate frame on the south side of the maintenance area. Contractor shall remove the existing gate and replace with an automatic liftmaster sliding gate with an obstruction sensor and use 9. 0 gauge chain link wire mesh to cover. Work shall include the installation of new gates, controllers, gate openers, keypads, and all hardware to complete a functional electric gate system.

The HHSC will make contract payments in accordance with chapter **** of the texas government code, commonly known as the texas prompt payment act.
The HHSC shall not be obligated to select the bidder with the lowest price but shall make an award to the bidder who provides the best value to the state of texas.
The minimum experience required is five 5 years. The bidders personnel to be assigned to perform the services must be fully trained and, at minimum, have three 3 years relevant experience.
Failure to maintain insurance coverage, as required, may be grounds for suspension of work for cause, termination of contract, or other remedies.
Attendance at one 1 onsite visit is mandatory. Failure to attend in person will result in the disqualification of a bidder.
