The City of Concord is seeking proposals to replace the refrigeration system at the Douglas N. Everett Arena. Construction is scheduled for Spring/Summer 2027. Proposals must be submitted by September 9, 2026, at 2:00 pm. A mandatory contractor walk-through is scheduled for August 27, 2026, at 9:30 am. Selection is based on understanding/responsiveness (20%), experience/qualifications (35%), cost (25%), and schedule/risk management (20%). The contractor must decommission the existing ammonia system and install a new ammonia-glycol system.
