Fairfield County School District is seeking bids for district-wide painting services. Offers are due by August 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The contract will be for one year with four one-year renewal options. Contractors must be licensed and certified in South Carolina. Services include painting, minor damage repair, and major sheetrock repair. All materials, tools, and equipment are to be provided by the contractor. Background checks are mandatory for all individuals performing work. Invoices must be submitted separately for each site and supported by receipts for materials. A warranty of one year for workmanship and products is required.
Offers must be received no later than August 18, 2026, at 10:00 a. m.
FCSD will not allow or pay any additional costs or surcharges on contractor invoices not already approved by the operations director or her designee. Separate invoices shall be submitted for each site per event. Billing shall occur in a timely manner.
The awarded contractors shall fully guarantee all workmanship and products furnished and installed under this contract against defect for one 1 year after completion. Defects will be repaired or replaced at no charge to FCSD.
To be eligible, a minimum of 12 months of continuous operation is required. Contractors must be properly licensed/certified by South Carolina State regulations.
The contractor shall be considered in violation if they fail to take corrective action in a timely manner after discovery of a problem or written notification of a problem discovered by staff. Contractor will be in violation if timely service is not performed and inventories are not maintained.
Do not submit bid samples or descriptive literature unless expressly requested.
Any prospective bidder, offeror, contractor, or subcontractor who is aggrieved in connection with the solicitation of a contract shall protest within fifteen days of the date of issuance of the applicable solicitation document at issue.
Offers which include either modifications to any of the solicitations contractual requirements or an offerors standard terms and conditions may be deemed nonresponsive and not considered for award.
