The Bureau of Reclamation seeks a concessionaire for a 20-year contract to provide commercial services at Silos Recreation Area, Canyon Ferry Reservoir, Townsend, MT. The concessionaire is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing facilities. Key requirements include providing services from May 1 through September 30, establishing a Reserve Account (RARR) with an initial deposit of $5,000. Proposals must be submitted by September 11, 2026 (amended date). An open house is scheduled for August 13, 2026.
The team will consider, in no particular order of importance, the following factors in selecting a best proposal: the bidder must propose: a franchise fee of no less than three 3 percent of the gross receipts for each year of operation

Reclamation will host an open house for organizations interested in bidding on this opportunity on August 13, 2026, at the silos boat ramp 82 silos road, townsend, mt ****, from 11:00 a. m. to 12:00 p. m. mountain time.

Proposals that are judged to be unsupportable or economically infeasible may be found nonresponsive in total or at the least be rated much lower than proposals judged to be economically reasonable and providing appropriate recognition of the business opportunity being provided by reclamation.
