The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is seeking contractors to perform herbicide applications and biomass removal of invasive phragmites australis in five management units at the Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve. The project is located in Huron, Ohio, and covers approximately 2. 24 acres. Herbicide applications must be completed between August 1, 2025, and October 31, 2025, and biomass removal between November 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026. All work must be completed by March 31, 2026. Bidders must visit the site and become familiar with the area prior to bidding. A work plan, final report, map of treated areas, GPS coordinates, and herbicide application record sheets are required upon completion. Invoices must include specific information to be processed. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Site visits are available by appointment.
