Past performance, pricing stability, and deviations from specifications may also be considered.
Bidders must be established firms with at least three consecutive years of business in Florida, whose primary business includes the provision of outdoor furniture and accessories or sun shade structures. They must demonstrate past successful experience with commercial accounts, including at least one school district similar in size. Bidders must also have adequate organization, facilities, and personnel to ensure competent, prompt, and efficient service.
Failure to comply with provisions, such as using e-verify, is a material breach of contract and may result in termination. Habitual violators may face immediate termination of the agreement.
Upon award of contract, bidders may occasionally be required to furnish fully assembled samples for evaluation purposes at no cost to the district.
