The Adams County Detention Facility seeks a qualified laundry service vendor for approximately 80,000 inmates. Services include clothing exchange twice weekly, cleaning bedding/linens/mop heads, and 7-day-a-week operation. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for August 27, 2026. Proposals must be submitted electronically via BidNetDirect by September 30, 2026. The award will be based on the proposal that demonstrates the best value, considering price and other criteria.
Proposals will be received until: September 30, 2026, at 5:00 p. m.
Payment will be made within thirty 30 days of receipt of each invoice unless other mutually agreeable arrangements have been made.
The award will be given to the firm whose proposal is determined to be most advantageous to adams county based on price and all other proposal criteria provided herein.
The firm must have three 3 years previous experience with proven effectiveness in providing and maintaining high quality laundry services as described herein.
A mandatory preproposal meeting will be held on august 27, 2026, at 10:00am at the adams county detention facility, 150 n. 19th ave, brighton, co ****.
RFP questions due: September 14, 2026, at 3:00 p. m.
Any contact with other county personnel or county contractors may be cause for disqualification.
Evaluation criteria: each proposal will be evaluated in the following categories: price, corporate stability, project personnel, policies, procedures, and security procedures.
