The tender requires maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of plumbing, heating, and waste disposal equipment. Semi-annual calibrations, combustion testing, and
safety device testing of
boilers and associated equipment are required. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, testing equipment, and supplies. Calibration reports, including date, settings, pass/fail, technical data, and technician names, are required. A list of line items requiring parts/replacement and associated costs must be provided. Additional work beyond the scope of the contract requires approval from the contracting officer. The contractor must have a laptop computer and required software to plug into and back-up all settings in the PCIII controls and provide a back-up flash drive to the plant supervisor. The contractor will not be accessing any sensitive VA information systems. The contractor will perform an internal inspection of 2 HB Smith, 14 section, cast-iron, low-pressure
boilers, and provide a written quote for any required repairs. The contractor will put the
boiler back together, fill with water, fire up the unit, and perform an operational and combustion test on oil and gas, making any adjustments needed for proper operation. A service report and all combustion printouts must be provided to the contracting officer's representative (COR) upon completion of the work. The contractor must sign in/out at the main
boiler plant, building # 22, and will be escorted to the work site. Attachments include the VHA
