The Bedford Central School District is seeking bids for the lease purchase of instructional technology equipment for the period of July 2026 through August 2029. Bids are due by 12:00 PM EST on May 29, 2026. The maximum annual payment for the lease is $225,000, inclusive of principal and interest. Bidders must provide a proposed master lease agreement, a list of at least three public school districts in New York with whom they have similar contracts, and a four-year amortization schedule. The district will make one annual payment per year, not exceeding $225,000, inclusive of principal and interest. The first payment will be made no later than 30 days following the arrival of the first equipment order or by August 1, 2026, whichever comes first. Subsequent annual payments will be made on the anniversary date of the first payment.
The board of education reserves the right to accept any bid which, in the opinion of the board of education, will be in the best interest of the school district.
All responses must include: a copy of the proposed master lease agreement, a list of at least three public school districts in New York with whom the company has entered into a lease agreement for systems, and a four-year amortization schedule. A completed and signed bid proposal certification form is also required.
The district reserves the right to rescind an award due to the failure to reach agreement on the terms and conditions of all documents constituting the lease.
