This is a simplified acquisition for the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation to provide tactical aerial demonstrations and warbird display at the 2026 Luke AFB air show. The rationale for a single source is due to the unique nature of the air show preparations and the preferred choice of the air act based on its history, certification, training, safety record, aircraft condition, professionalism, and high esteem within the air show industry. Market research was conducted, and the Icas convention was used to identify and evaluate potential vendors. Future efforts will be made to find multiple acts of the same type to compete in the future.
