The contract shall commence July 1, 2026 and terminate June 30, 2028. Further, the parties hereto may agree to renew this agreement for up to three 3 additional consecutive annual terms, with a final termination date of June 30, 2031.

Payment shall be made on a reimbursement basis. The contractor shall submit invoices within thirty 30 days. The work must be completed within 90 calendar days of the mailing of the notice to proceed. The contract time is set forth in the contract documents.

The bid prices shall include everything necessary for the completion of construction and fulfillment of the contract. Progress payments will be made monthly, subject to a ten percent (10%) withhold. Final payment will be made at least thirty (30) days after filing of the notice of completion.

If within one year after the date of completion and county's acceptance of the work, any work is found to be defective, the contractor shall promptly correct such defective work.

The award of the contract, if awarded, will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder whose bid complies with all the requirements stated herein.

Contractor will be required to possess a general class A contractors license or other applicable specialty license at the time the contract is awarded. Each bidder must be prepared to submit, within five days of county's request, written evidence of bidders qualifications to perform the work.
