The contract work shall be fully completed by October 31, 2026.

The contractor shall keep in good order and repair any defect in all the work done under said contract for a period of one year from the date of payment of the final estimate.

The contract shall be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder.

The city may make investigations to determine the construction capabilities and financial resources of the bidder. The bidder shall furnish all requested information and data. The city reserves the right to reject any bid if the bidder is not properly qualified.

If the contract work is not fully completed within the time limit, the contractor shall pay the city **** per calendar day as liquidated damages.

Any questions on contract bid documents should be asked in writing via email no later than Monday, July 6, 2026, at 4:30 p. m.

Failure or refusal by the contractor to execute the contract and provide required bonds within fifteen days of receiving written notice of award will result in forfeiture of the bid security.

The anticipated period of performance is 10 July through 15 October. Quotes are due at the date and time listed in block 8 of the SF ****.

The solicitation will be awarded as a 100% small business set aside. Prospective awardees must maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.

Bids are due before 2 PM on June 16, 2026. Delivery is requested ASAP after notice of award, receipt of purchase order, or authorized calls for delivery, unless otherwise specified. Bidders guaranteed delivery is days.

County terms of payment are 2 10 net 30. Bidder may offer alternate terms. Prepayments prior to shipment will not be permitted unless specifically stated.

Bidders must include standard manufacturer warranty documentation for the new electric tractor and its batteries. All items delivered must be guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship.

An award will be made to the bidder that offers the most competitive pricing while adhering to the guidelines of this bid request. The county reserves the right to award this bid based on the lowest net price received with or without tradein credit.

Bidder must be an authorized dealer of the new equipment being offered. The bidder must be prepared, if requested, to present evidence of experience, ability and financial standing.

Failure to deliver items or equipment that do not meet county specifications or are not received within the specified delivery time may be cause for cancellation of the order and vendor declared irresponsible. Any additional costs incurred by the county may be charged to original vendor.

Samples are not required for this bid.

Vendors protesting or disputing bid specifications must do so in writing during the bid opening period prior to the due date to be considered. Such protests must be in the possession of the bureau of purchase and supplies three working days prior to the bids opening.

Failure to complete this bid in its entirety may result in disqualification. Copies obtained from any other source are not considered official documents and will be considered incomplete if missing addenda, if any, resulting in disqualification.

Responses must be received no later than Friday, May 22, 2026, at 4:30 p. m. Central Time.

The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District is requesting capability statements from all qualified and interested businesses. The NAICS code for the proposed acquisition is ****, soil preparation, planting, and cultivating, and the small business size standard is $9. 5 million. Under RFO FAR guidelines, the prime contractor must have the capability to perform at least 50% of the contract work with his or her own employees. Evidence of capabilities to perform comparable relevant work on three recent projects not more than five years old is required.
