The project includes construction of a new paved bike path along the perimeter of the West Bluff Trailhea
Construction of bike path and roadway improvements Construction of approximately 1, 100 feet of new paved bike path adjacent to the trailhead parking area. Improvements to Long Avenue, including widening for an uphill bike lane and replacement of guardrails and chain link fencing. Reconstruction of an historic masonry drainage ditch. Reconstruction of the intersection of Long Avenue and Marine Drive, including adjacent plaza area, to accommodate the bike path, gated access for administrative vehicles, and pedestrian safety improvements. Construction of a vehicle turnaround at the northwest terminus of the West Bluff Trailhead parking area. Construction of several small retaining walls.
