Pavement preservation includes crack seal, chip seal, fog seal existing paved shoulders, and striping, including a passing lane where it was left out previously. 1. Retaining wall improvements: remove and replace damaged timber lagging and existing steel soldier pile retaining wall, at 8 identified locations as shown in the contract drawings, and as directed by the contracting officer. Cut and remove damaged portions of existing steel soldier piles. Install splice plates and new steel members to restore structural integrity.
