This is a presolicitation notice for maintenance, repairs, and support for Drager ventilators and vaporizers for the VA Boston Healthcare System. The procurement will be awarded using simplified procedures, with the award going to the vendor providing the best value. The agency intends to solicit directly from the OEM and OEM-authorized service providers. This is an unrestricted solicitation. The scope of work includes providing Drager-certified technicians for preventive maintenance, repairs, and support for anesthesia machines and vaporizers. The vendor must provide all necessary labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, parts, and supervision. Field service reports must be completed and submitted. Emergency service is available 24/7 with a next business day response time for on-site technicians. Contractors must adhere to all government laws, regulations, and VA directives regarding national security, patient privacy, and information security, including HIPAA and COVID-19 screening requirements. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) for market research conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources for the spares procurement of specific aircraft parts, including masks and oxygen systems.
