Bidders must inspect the site and be familiar with contract documents. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder. The successful bidder must execute the contract and provide required bonds within 15 days of notice of award. Liquidated damages of **** per calendar day will be assessed for failure to complete the work by October 31, 2026.
The contract work shall be fully completed by October 31, 2026.
The contractor shall keep in good order and repair any defect in all the work done under said contract for a period of one year from the date of payment of the final estimate.

The city may make investigations to determine the construction capabilities and financial resources of the bidder. The bidder shall furnish all requested information and data. The city reserves the right to reject any bid if the bidder is not properly qualified.
