Selected firms must have a minimum of five years of experience in tourism marketing and demonstrate expertise in tourism advertising and marketing, with an understanding of the tourism market and challenges specific to Laredo, Texas.

The contract may be terminated with 30 days' prior written notice, with or without cause. Failure to comply with certain conditions may result in contract cancellation.

For solicitations over $50,000, bidders have ten calendar days prior to the City Council's formal consideration of the contract to submit a written protest.

Violation of the no-contact provision with city officials during the solicitation period may lead to disqualification of the offer.
