This information will be used to determine the responsibility of the respondent and their ability to perform services safely.

This is a sources sought notice for crane and hoisting services at the US Military Academy at West Point, NY. The notice details the required annual inspections, preventative maintenance, and load testing of lifting devices. The contractor must adhere to instructions from the COR, maintain operating hours, provide identified personnel, and submit required documentation. A prebid conference is scheduled for August 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM HST, at the Kalaeloa Airport conference room. RFI questions and substitution requests must be submitted in hiepro no later than August 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM HST. The estimated cost of construction is between $600,**** and $1,200,****. Apprenticeship preference and employment of state residents are required. Campaign contributions are prohibited. Protests must be submitted in writing to the Director of Transportation. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Additional documents designated as confidential and/or proprietary must be uploaded separately to hiepro. Original wet ink, hard copy proposal documents are not required. Contract award shall be based on evaluation of proposals submitted and uploaded to hiepro. Failure to upload the complete proposal to hiepro shall be grounds for rejection. The project includes reroofing, replacing mechanical ducts and insulation, gutters, downspouts, ship ladder, roof access ladder, providing temporary air conditioning, and installing stainless guardrail. The Hawaii Department of Transportation, Air and Water Transportation Facilities Division, 2016 General Provisions for Construction Projects, is applicable to this project.
