The City of Buffalo is seeking proposals for portable toilets for its parks. Proposals are due by April 6th, 2026, at 4:00 PM EST. The contract period is 14 months, with potential for four one-year extensions. Bidders must have visited the site and examined specifications. The contractor is responsible for all labor, services, and materials. Insurance requirements include workers' compensation, disability, general liability ($2,000,****), property damage, and automobile insurance ($1,000,****). The contractor must indemnify the city against all claims and losses. A one-year warranty is required. Samples of materials may be requested. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
The bid proposals will be accepted until April 6th, 2026, at 4:00 PM EST. The contract period is May 1st, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with potential extensions. The contractor agrees to start the work within 10 calendar days from receipt of order.
All invoices shall be submitted using the attached form with supporting documents, and the vendor shall submit one invoice for all services rendered at the end of each month after services are rendered.
The contractor shall keep and maintain the work in good condition and repair for one 1 year from the date of acceptance of same by the city.
The city of buffalo does not obligate itself to accept the lowest or any other proposal, but reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
The undersigned declares that he or his representatives have visited the site of the work, have examined the drawings and/or specifications for the work, have verified all measurements, and are responsible for the correctness of same. They have conferred with the project managers and have been fully informed of existing conditions and limitations.
