The city may terminate the contract for violations hereof when violations are not stopped immediately and corrected within a reasonable length of time after notification by the director.

A false statement on the certification regarding debarment, suspension, and other responsibility matters may be grounds for the rejection of this proposal or the termination of the award.

A virtual pre-bid meeting will be held on July 15, 2026. Attendance is strongly encouraged but not mandatory. If site visits are requested, only vendors who attended the pre-bid meeting will be eligible to participate.

A protest concerning the terms, conditions, or specifications must be filed within five business days after the basis of the protest is known or should have been known. A protest concerning the notice of intent to award must be filed within five business days following issuance of the notice of intent to award.

Unauthorized contact with Saint Louis Zoo employees regarding this solicitation may result in disqualification.

Delivery is required within ninety days ARO (After Receipt of Order).

Contract award will be based on price technical to determine best value.

This acquisition is a total set aside for small business concerns.

Failure to comply with health and safety rules and requirements, unless promptly corrected as directed by the contracting officer, shall be grounds for termination of this contract in accordance with the default clause of this contract.
