The Town of Tyrone is seeking proposals for the lease of municipal real estate (**** acres) located at 145 Commerce Drive, Tyrone, Georgia, for the purpose of installing and operating a telecommunications tower and associated equipment. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM on Monday, July 27, 2026. All questions must be submitted in writing by Monday, July 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The lease term is negotiable, with a maximum initial term of 10 years and a possible renewal term of up to 10 years. The award will be made to the respondent offering the most advantageous lease terms. Evaluation criteria include financial proposal (60%), advance payment (15%), professional qualifications (10%), responsiveness and compliance history (10%), and transition and site plan (5%).

The contract award will be made to the respondent who is best able to perform the required services in a manner most beneficial to the town, based on financial proposal, advance payment, professional qualifications, responsiveness and compliance history, and transition and site plan. all proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by the town of tyrone and an award will be made, if at all, to the responsive and responsible respondent offering the most advantageous lease terms deemed to be in the best interest of the town of tyrone.
Respondents must provide a company background, qualifications, technical capabilities, three references, their most recent audited public financial statement, and submission forms. They must also demonstrate authorization to do business in Georgia and provide professional licenses, accreditations, permits, or certifications. Respondents must attach to the proposal, as exhibits thereto, evidence that the company is authorized to do business in the state of georgia.
Failure to comply with the requirements set forth in this RFP may result in disqualification. If the lessee fails to surrender the leased premises and remove all equipment within sixty (60) days following the expiration or termination of the lease, they shall be deemed a holdover tenant on a month-to-month basis at 150% of the monthly rent.
