Tree Removal Government Bids & RFPs

The period of performance for tree removal services is between September 17, 2026, and February 26, 2027. The contractor shall provide tree removal services at the designated locations specified between 17 September 2026 and 26 February 2027.

Invoices shall be submitted to the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) for approval prior to processing. An original invoice shall be submitted to the cor for approval prior to submission for processing.

Trees removed or damaged without prior authorization will be subject to assessed costs deducted from contractor payment. Additionally, each tree removed without prior authorization of the cor shall be subject to the following costs being assessed by the contractor and deducted from the government payment: tree size assessed deduction 28 inches diameter breast height ****

Failure to comply with security requirements, including background checks and e-Verify, could lead to disqualification. All contract personnel shall submit the following information: a. Employee name, b. SSN, c. Date of birth, d. Place of birth, e. Drivers license number issuing state.

The contract period of performance shall be from contract award to April 14, 2027.

After final inspection and acceptance by the government, the contractor must submit an invoice to the technical point of contact. For jobs greater than 30 days, the contractor may request multiple payments.

The government will award a contract to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The evaluation factors will be technical, price, and past performance.

Vendors are required to be registered in SAM. gov. The work shall be completed by a qualified tree worker. Specific safety personnel requirements are also outlined.

Site visits are strongly recommended to gauge the full scope of work and provide an accurate quote. Specific dates and times are provided: July 24, 2026 at 1:30 pm ET and July 27, 2026 at 1:30 pm ET.

Failure to adhere to all instructions, terms, and conditions, including completing the solicitation survey, may result in quotes being deemed nonresponsive and removed from consideration.

The anticipated performance period is from September 15, 2026 to September 15, 2027.

Invoices for services will be paid after the end of the month of service; advanced payments are not allowed.

An award will be made to the contractor whose submittal documents conform to the requirements and who, based on a subjective assessment from the government, offers the best value to include technical, past experience, and price.

Your quote will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered if all required documents are not completed in full and received as part of your submittal package.

Responses to this IFB must be received August 12, 2026, 10:30 am.

HHS system agency will make contract payments in accordance with chapter **** of the Texas Government Code, commonly known as the Texas Prompt Payment Act.

The bidder shall have relevant experience required for the performance of the services as outlined in this IFB. The minimum experience required is three 3 years.

An optional on-site visit will be conducted on July 23, 2026, at 10:30 am at Denton State Supported Living Center, **** State School Road, Denton, TX ****.

Failure to comply with the sole point of contact requirements may result in disqualification of the response. Responses received without a properly completed HSP will be disqualified.

Bids will be received electronically until 2:00 p. m. , September 10, 2026.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 am on August 14, 2026, at the General Government Building, 200 Derbigny Street, Suite ****, Gretna, LA **** to attend the prebid conference and inspection does not relieve the successful bidder from the necessity of furnishing materials or performing any work that may be required to complete the work in accordance with the specification with no additional cost to the owner.
