Failure to deliver within a reasonable period may result in cancellation of the award and the original bidder being back-charged the difference between the original contract price and the price the board must pay due to the failure to perform.

Samples or demonstrators, when requested, must be furnished free of expense to the board.

Vendors not responding to three consecutive invitations to bid for the requested commodity may be removed from the bidders list. Unsatisfactory audit findings may result in disqualification from future solicitations.

A two-year full parts and labor warranty is required for the entire boiler assembly, and a five-year full parts and labor warranty shall be provided for the boiler headers, tubes, and fittings connected thereto.

The boiler manufacturer shall provide a field engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in boiler installation and startup for packaged boilers with a minimum heat capacity of 60MMBtu/hr. A field advisor with a minimum of five years of experience in boiler installation for packaged boilers with a minimum heat output capacity of 45MMBtu/hr or greater may be provided.

The owner will witness hydraulic test and casing test. Boiler manufacturer to pay travel costs for two representatives from the owner to witness both tests.
