z1kf maintenance of dredging facilities the project work consists of the construction of two new weir structures in the dmma 3 d basin. the weir construction also includes associated concrete foundation, discharge pipes, filter drain and clsm, helical anchors, mitered end sections, riprap outfall area, floating platform, gangway, and flap gate. associated earthwork includes deconstruction of the existing dike in the vicinity of the new weirs reconstruction of the dike and construction of new earthwork features including ramps. the project also entails repair and stabilization of eroded sections of the existing exterior dike slope, including placement of fill, riprap, and sod. the gangway at the existing weirs is damaged and requires removal and replacement. the floating dock at the existing weirs requires modification to allow for proper operation. concrete repairs are also required at the existing weirs.
